Preparing for Transfer

Your life as a college student has been filled with new experiences. Your degree at a university will be filled with exciting possibilities and many choices as you complete your plan of study and prepare for your career. There are many advantages to completing a four-year degree, including easier entry into the job market and higher wages.

  • Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC)
The AGEC is designed for students who are planning to transfer to one of Arizona’s three state universities. The AGEC is a block of 35 required credits that satisfy the general curriculum requirements and may be applied to the graduation requirements for the majority of Arizona university majors. The AGEC is further divided into three areas of study to meet your career needs: liberal arts, math and science, and business.
