Description: The MCCCD Associate in Arts, Fine Arts - Art degree requires a minimum of 63 semester credits for the program of study. The degree includes the following components: I. General Education: Arizona General Education Curriculum for Arts (AGEC-A) MCCCD Additional Requirements II. Fine Arts Requirements - Art The Associate in Arts, Fine Arts - Art degree is designed for students planning to transfer to four-year colleges and universities. In general, the components of the degree meet requirements for majors in the Fine Arts. The degree is designed to prepare students to meet selective admission criteria for programs such as the Bachelor of Fine Arts, which may require a portfolio or performance requirement. The semester credits used to satisfy the MCCCD Associate in Arts, Fine Arts - Art degree may apply to university graduation requirements of the university major for which the degree is designed.
