South Mountain hosted Glendale Wednesday night looking for a win to challenge for the 3 seed in the ACCAC tournament. The Cougars would find themselves trailing 36-30 at the half. A better shooting performance in the second half and solid defense helped South come back and secure a win 67-63.

Baseball traveled to Las Vegas to play four games on Friday and Saturday in the Coyote Classic.
In Game 1 the Cougars took on Okangan College from Canada. Keegan McCarville went 6 innings and had 13 strikeouts.
South Mountain traveled to Thatcher to take on Eastern Arizona in an ACCAC match-up. The Cougars would have a great second quarter and cling to a five point lead at the half 40-35. The Cougars would hold on and win 76-67.

The Cougars hosted #9 Southern Nevada for two games on Saturday. CSN was in the NJCAA World Series a year ago so it would be a good early test for South.
