South Mountain Men’s Soccer was still looking for their first win on the year when they traveled to Tucson to take on #8 Pima. The Cougars were on the verge of a huge upset as the score was 3-2 with 11 minutes remaining. They could not hold on and gave up three goals late and lost 6-2.
Jeremy Patino scored the first goal of the game 3 minutes into the match. Pima answered with three goals and Zach Demark scored a goal in the 71st minute to get South Mountain back within one goal.
The Cougars are (0-12) on the season and host Arizona Western Saturday at 2pm.
