South Mountain Men’s Soccer traveled to Paradise Valley Thursday afternoon still looking for that first win of the season. The Cougars would finally break through as they beat the Pumas 7-4.
Joseph Ilunga and Jeremy Patino both scored two goals to help the Cougars goal surge on the day.
South Mountain Men’s Soccer was still looking for their first win on the year when they traveled to Tucson to take on #8 Pima. The Cougars were on the verge of a huge upset as the score was 3-2 with 11 minutes remaining. They could not hold on and gave up three goals late and lost 6-2.
Men’s Soccer is scheduled to have a free open tryout on May 20th starting at 9am located at the South Mountain CC Soccer field. Email Coach Miller if you want more info.
South Mountain announced the hire of Michael Miller as Men’s Soccer Head Coach and Kyle Porter as Women’s Head Coach.
Mike Miller will be entering his first year with South Mountain Community college and is excited to be build a top level program.
