Women’s Basketball hosted Phoenix on Saturday in the Cougars final home game of the season. South Mountain would go out with a bang beating Phoenix 89-77. Trailing by 1 at the half, the Cougars took off in the second half to get the victory.
Kayla Clark lead the way with a season high 32 points and had 11 rebounds. Lizette Cantu had 20 points on six threes and Raegene Womack had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Andrea Goulette added 10 points and 9 rebounds.
South Mountain improves to (7-16,5-16) on the year and plays their final game on the road against Central Arizona Tuesday at 530pm.
