South Mountain improved to 2-0 on the season as they erased a first half deficit and came back to defeat Benedictine-Mesa JV 69-63 on Tuesday night at home.
Rayonna Seamster and Tiondra Bishop both had 15 points off the bench to pace the Cougars scoring. Seamster also had 8 rebounds and 3 assists and Bishop had 9 rebounds and 7 steals. Kayla Clark had 10 points and 13 rebounds.
South Mountain is next in action at home Saturday at 2pm against West Wing Academy.
