Freshman Raegene Womack earned Third-Team All-ACCAC and Second-Team All-Region D2 on the Women’s Basketball side. Womack averaged 13.3 points per game and 11.1 rebounds per game on the season to help the Cougars to a 7-17 record.
Women’s Basketball hosted Phoenix on Saturday in the Cougars final home game of the season. South Mountain would go out with a bang beating Phoenix 89-77. Trailing by 1 at the half, the Cougars took off in the second half to get the victory.
Women’s Basketball traveled to take on Tohono O’odham Wednesday night looking for a conference victory. The Cougars trailed by 6 at the half but made a run in the second half to take the game 74-71.

Cougars Women’s Basketball traveled to Chandler-Gilbert last night still looking for its first conference victory. Someone would leave with their first conference win as both teams were 0-3 on the year.
South would come out victorious with a huge 65-25 win.
