The Cougars will send three participants to the NJCAA National Championships in Daytona Beach, FL. The tournament will begin on May 16th.
The Cougars will host the rest of the Conference today and tomorrow in the South Mountain Invitational at the Legacy Golf Resort. South Mountain is currently 3rd in the conference standings with just two tournaments remaining on the schedule.
The Cougars are entering the final day of competition at the 2015 NJCAA National Tournament in Mesa, AZ. The tournament has the top 106 junior college golfers in the country.
The Cougars will tee off today, the first day of the NJCAA National Tournament, at Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, AZ. Sophomores Geraldine Torrellas and Courtney Gourdin, along with freshman Mercedes Brown, will be representing South Mountain over the next four days.
All student athletes must have a physical on file before participating in formal practice (weights & conditioning, practice, and scrimmages). This includes all student athletes that will be joining the team in the following year, or a person trying out for the team.
The Cougars wrapped up the 2015 regular season with another 2nd place team finish. South Mountain finished in 2nd place in all 7 ACCAC tournaments this season.
