Student Venture Pitch & CISCO Innovation Challenge
Must-see Business Pitch Throw Down!
PHOENIX, Ariz.– October 27, 2016 -The South Mountain Community College (SMCC) Student Venture Pitch Competition and Arizona State University (ASU) Cisco Innovation Challenge have joined forces to bring entrepreneurial ideas into action.
Student entrepreneurs will pitch for the opportunity to win funds to launch and grow their businesses ideas. Students will have three minutes to compete for funding before a panel of successful inventors, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial-minded practitioners in the business community. Presentations include an overview of the business, defined customer or market and how the business will benefit from the prize money.

A $2,000 prize pool, sponsored by MariSol Federal Credit Union. Live judging of SMCC Student Entrepreneur Business Ideas.

6 PM – ASU Cisco Innovation Challenge
Live judging of pitch presentations from community college students mentored by ASU, SMCC Community Entrepreneurship Center, and PVCC Entrepreneurship Education Center. Students will have five minutes to pitch new Internet of Everything solutions and technologies. Winners for the $10,000 prize pool will be announced. $5,000 first place | $3,000 second place | $2,000 third place. This event is made possible by a Cisco corporate advised fund at Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
