Introduction to Electronic Commerce on the Internet. Designing an electronic storefront including web page content and development, e-commerce site marketing, advertisement, legal and security considerations, credit card and other debit transaction covered. Also includes current issues in e-commerce.

These classes are intended for advanced Web Dev students who have completed or are taking either CIS133DA or CIS132.á In this class you will beáintroduced to a wideávariety of eCommerce topics, including accepting financial transactions on your own web site.

Classes will not be held on Thurs/Fri, 11/22-11/25/18 in observation of Thanksgiving û CAMPUS CLOSED.
"These classes are intended for advanced Web Dev students who have completed or are taking either CIS133DA or CIS132. In this class you will be introduced to a wide variety of eCommerce topics, including accepting financial transactions on your own web site. This class is part of our Advanced Web Development Lab-Based Learning (LBL) class which includes the following courses: CIS233DA, CIS233DC, CIS166AA and CIS235. All of these classes may be taken as electives or for personal interest."
Students in this class complete a variety of tasks, both in and out of the classroom. These include hands-on labs, reading/studying the textbook and other supplemental materials, watching video tutorials, and completing online assignments/quizzes. This will be explained in full during the first class period.
This course is required for these qualifications: Web Apps Development Certificate (5810) Web Design Certificate (5159) Web Development and Graphic Design Certificate (5168) Web Development and Graphic Design Associates Degree (3100)
Courses in this Lab-Based Learning class are offered in the same classroom at the same time. Students may take CIS166AA, CIS235 and CIS233 concurrently (together) with the permission of the instructor.
Class 12566 is a Hybrid class requiring both internet and classroom activities. Access to internet and a student gmail address is required.
