EXS112: Professional Applications of Fitness Principles3 Credits

Basic principles of fitness for the prospective fitness professional and characteristics of quality communication and fitness leadership. Topics include behavior modification, enhancing motivation components of fitness, fitness assessment, risk stratification, exercise programming and modifications. Prerequisites: None.

HYBRID Format: Blends face-to-face (in person) instruction in a classroom with online learning; convenient for you and your schedule because you spend approximately half the time in a regularly scheduled class with your instructor and the rest of the time online; requires reliable Web and e-mail access for communication and assignments outside of the classroom.
