PED115: Lifetime Fitness2 Credits

Increase personal fitness, strength, and vitality. Current principles of cardiovascular exercise, weight training, flexibility, and balance exercises applicable to lifetime fitness goals. Personalized fitness plans developed and implemented with support of highly trained fitness professionals. Techniques to make sessions more effective and enjoyable. Prerequisites: None.

Do you want to lose weight, gain muscle or enhance your health? Let us help you reach your fitness and health goals! Lifetime Fitness may be repeated for credit. This course is associated with a letter grade. Grading scale is based on the number of hours completed: A - 34hrs, B - 30hrs, C - 25hrs, D - 20, F - Less than 20hrs All students must attend an orientation the first week of class or you will be dropped. Orientations will be held in the Fitness Center the first week of class. The Fitness Center is open from M-Th 6am-7pm and F 6am-5pm. Bring class schedule and Student ID to orientation.
