PSY244: Internship in Psychology1 Credits

Experience in working in a wide variety of settings including but not limited to schools, non-profit agencies, advocacy agencies and other governmental agencies. 80 hours of designated volunteer or paid work.

The student will be required to meet with instructor. The student will also be expected to complete eighty (80) hours of work at the site you have chosen. The student's time will be recorded and approved by their intern supervisor at the site.
Prerequisites or Co-requisites: A grade of "C" or better in any two 200-level PSY courses and permission of Instructor. At least one of the 200-level PSY courses must be taken in prior semester. This for Psychology Majors Only. Internship nominees must have completed Statistics (PSY230 and PSY231) and/or Research Methods (PSY290AB) to be eligible.
