Dr. Janet Ortega

Bio

Dr. Janet Ortega is Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and Technology at South Mountain Community College. Dr. Ortega assumed her current position at SMCC in September of 2010 as Interim Vice President of Administrative Services, and was selected as a permanent Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and Technology in July 2011. Prior to her arrival at South Mountain, Dr. Ortega served as the Associate Dean of Finance and Business Services at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Dr. Ortega earned her Associate in Arts degree at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. Dr. Ortega earned her Doctoral degree from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership.
