ENG102 - First-Year Composition
Camille Newton is a residential faculty member in English with a focus on teaching college composition. She earned a B.S. in Business from Cornell University, an M.A. in English Literature at McNeese State University, and a Ph.D. in English, Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Louisville. Dr. Newton has focused in her education and career on the theory and practice of teaching writing, and she has over twenty years of experience teaching college composition and developmental writing at state universities, research institutions, and community colleges. Her research interests include the preparation and professional development of teachers of writing and the theories and practice of assessment in higher education.
