Travis is the Workforce Development faculty member of the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute.  Travis has held many roles throughout his two-decade tenure at SMCC. He has been a Helpdesk Manger, Project Manager, Audio Visual Coordinator and an adjunct storytelling instructor. For Travis, storytelling is more than just telling stories, it is a way of life. Travis believes in the power of storytelling to engage learners in all sectors in personal growth and in cultural and community awareness. He has led the Institute’s connection with ASU’s Changemaker initiative,  and in creating faculty development coursework in storytelling for the college and the Maricopa District. He is currently curating the “I’m Telling” podcast for the Institute.
