Program Competencies

  • 1. Describe common uses of computer information systems and fundamental computer concepts; use common microcomputer business software applications and perform basic programming techniques. (CIS105)

  • 2. Describe the benefits, uses, and problems associated with networks; identify the components of a network; and describe the protocols, hardware, and cabling types related to networks; install/configure Windows and implement/configure administrative tools. (CIS190, CNT140AA, MST150++)

  • 3. Describe in writing the marketing functions of promotion, selling, merchandising, distribution, producing goods, and producing services. (GBS151)
