#SMCC Votes

2020 is an important election year and your vote counts at every level: local, state, and national!
SMCC is taking on the challenge to pledge the campus to register and show up November 3 to vote.

#SMCCVotes was launched as part of a local campus campaign in partnership with All-In Campus Democracy Challenge and the Campus Vote Project to help empower students to register and vote.

SMCC created local initiatives embedded on campus to:

  1. Support voter registration in South Phoenix
  2. Fulfill basic needs

Students can earn a $25 gift card to Fry’s by sharing their voting story with us! (while supplies last)

To participate in #SMCCVotes:
  1. Record a brief video telling us your voting story!
    Focus your story on:
      • When you registered for the first time

  2. Post It
Tell your story on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter tagging SMCC, and using the hashtag #SMCCVotes. Don’t forget to make it public!
