Virtual Graduation Celebration
This yea, we will be hosting a virtual graduation celebration, which will premiere at 10:00 AM on June 13. The vendor, Stage Clip, will be facilitating the event. Graduating students will be receiving emails from Stage Clip through their Maricopa email address. Please watch for information that participating students will need to upload to Stage Clip to make this Graduation Celebration memorable and exciting for graduating students, their family and friends.
Last day to apply for graduation and be included in the Spring 2020 Graduation Celebration is May 20.
If you applied for graduation before before May 1 and supplied your height and weight, then your cap, gown and tassel will be arriving at your home from Oak Hall Industries. This is free of charge, courtesy of SMCC.
If you applied after May 1 and would like a cap, gown and tassel, please go to the Oak Hall Industries link: https://southmountaincc.shopoakhalli.com/ and enter your information. The deadline is May 30, and is free of charge, courtesy of SMCC.
Refund: If you paid $25.00 for a cap and gown and have not received that refund please contact Cashiers: email@example.com.
Diplomas and a diploma cover will be mailed directly to students tentatively July 2020 using the physical address on file. Please review this information in your Student Center. If your address needs to be updated you may do so in your Student Center.
Please note your degree and/or certificates will be posted on your transcript. You may check to see when your degree and/or certificates are posted by looking at your unofficial transcript in your Student Services Center before ordering official transcripts to be sent to colleges, universities, employers and/or for scholarship opportunities.
Are you Eligible for Graduation?
Students maintaining continuous enrollment at any public Arizona community college or university may graduate according to the requirements of the catalog in effect at the time of initial enrollment or according to the requirements of any single catalog in effect during subsequent terms of continuous enrollment. Students may maintain continuous enrollment whether attending a single public community college or university in Arizona or transferring among public institutions in Arizona while pursuing their degrees.
