Advanced Behavioral Health Sciences

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Behavioral Sciences program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive study of human behavior and prepare them to assist, as part of a clinical team, in the care of individuals and families dealing with mental illness, addictions and substance use, developmental disabilities, co-morbid medical conditions, and challenging behaviors. The program includes courses designed to provide students with the skills necessary to deliver specialized and comprehensive behavioral health and social services. The core focus of the program is practical training and service learning experiences.
