Join us for a hands-on weaving workshop designed for dedicated students interested in learning the art of traditional Navajo rug weaving. This unique opportunity will guide you through the full process—from setting up a loom to weaving and finishing your own rug.
The workshop will be facilitated by Gerard Begay, Navajo artist and educator.
Students will be responsible for bringing:
- Five 1-inch dowels (each 2 feet long)
- A weaving comb and batten (both small
and medium sizes)
