Sometimes the most critical needs are the most basic, like books and supplies for course work, technology, or even a meal or a tank of gas to get to class.

There are more than a dozen ways to help support SMCC!

    A general fund supporting student athlete scholarships and equipment for SMCC Cougar athletics

    A fund that supports scholarships and equipment for members of the SMCC Golf Team

    A fund that supports students actively engaged and pursuing musical careers and education.
  • Storytelling Endowment Scholarship 
    A fund that supports the Storytelling program at SMCC.
  • Warren Storytelling Fund 
    A fund that supports increasing the diversity, equity, and inclusion of students in the SMCC Storytelling Institute.

  • SMCC Alumni Association Scholarship 
    A fund that supports the development and growth of the Alumni Association and support for engagement activities with SMCC alumni
  • Associate Degree Transfer Scholarship 
    A general support scholarships for full time students at SMCC.
  • Bilingual Nursing Program Endowment 
    A scholarship awarded to students in the Bilingual Nursing Program at SMCC.
  • Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship 
    A scholarship that supports opportunities for students enrolled in English as a Second Language (ESL).
  • Martens Scholarship Endowment 
    A fund that provides support to adult students who have interrupted their education to work or raise a family and are now seeking higher education to better themselves.
  • Thomas Family Fund 
    A fund that provides support for students working full or part time while completing their degree.
  • Transborder Studies--Montiel/Jaap Scholarship 
    A scholarship for students planning to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree or minor in "Transborder Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies" at Arizona State University.
  • SMCC Legacy Scholarship 
    A scholarship that provides full tuition support for a full time student.
  • Students Transformed To Achieving Radiant Success (Stars) 
    Driven by the high student loan default rate and a lack of scholarship opportunities available for students, SMCC faculty and staff created this endowed fund  as a perpetual source of scholarship funding support.
  • Esther M & G LeRoy Gaintner Endowed Scholarship 
    A general need based scholarship.
  • LeRoy & Nancy Gaintner Fund for SMCC Leadership 
    A general need based scholarship.
  • Pass it Forward 
    A fund that provides need based support for African-American female students who are working part time.

  • SMCC  Achieving a College Education Program (ACE) Program  
    A program that enables at-risk high school students to earn up to 24 college credits by the time they graduate from high school.
  • SMCC American Indian Student Fund 
    A fund that provides American Indian students access to a quality education, while still preserving their culture and celebrating their heritage.
  • SMCC Greatest Needs Fund 
    SMCC’s most flexible fund, allowing the college to address a variety of needs as they arise.
  • INTEL Latina Book Award 
    An award that provides an annual book award to serve the college’s needs.
  • SMCC Library Fund 
    A fund that supports speakers and library programs.
  • SMCC Student Mental Health Support Fund 
    A fund that supports students in SMCC’S Behavioral Health Sciences program.
  • Verna McClain Student Emergency Fund 
    A fund that supports relief for unexpected, temporary obstacles, bills and emergency needs, often provided to students within 24-48 hours.
