After a nationwide search, Dr. Beverli Marshall has been named as the new Vice President of Administrative Services (VPAS) at South Mountain Community College, effective May 28, 2024.
Dr. Marshall is currently serving as the interim City Manager for the City of Vallejo, CA. Prior to this appointment, she served as the City Manager for the City of Glenwood Springs, CO. She has also served as the General Manager at Valley Sanitary District, General Manager at Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside, Business Services Manager at West County Wastewater District, and Director of Administrative Services at the City of Orinda. She has also held various positions with the City of Berkeley including Finance Manager of the Berkeley Public Library, Chief Executive Officer of the Berkeley Housing Authority, and Senior Management Analyst of Parks, Recreation and Waterfront, and was Director of Housing at San Francisco Housing Authority.
Dr. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, a Master of Public Administration from University of Alaska, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Alliant International University.
