Kenneth Guerrero

Kenneth Guerrero is a high-caliber leader with more than 20 years of experience in higher education management and mentoring operations teams. 

Having earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Health Care Administration, Ken has a desire to complete his Ph.D. in Business Management. He served in the armed forces three times and was honorably discharged as a Captain from the U.S. Army Reserves in 2007. His accomplishments include starting his own business, which required a capital raise of $5 million. Ken was a co-founder of a for-profit two college system in the allied health sector. He was also a founding member of the accounting management team that launched the 20th California State University in San Marcos, California. Ken also served as an ad hoc education committee member for the State of Hawaii. 

Ken has a successful history of building and driving assertive goals at both start-up and Fortune 500 companies. His executive experience covers a broad scope of educational accomplishments, influencing strategic and administrative agility in the areas of academics, community development, risk management, financial management, fiscal acuity, process re-engineering, collaborative leadership, and implementing innovative partnerships and programs to build and sustain a competitive advantage. 

Ken most recently served as the Campus President of UEI College located in Phoenix, Arizona, which offers high-demand programs in trades and allied health. Ken has previously held leadership roles as Campus President of San Joaquin Valley College and Institutional President of Argosy University, Pacific Region, with campuses in Hawaii, American Samoa, and Guam. 

He is passionate about volunteering in the community, public speaking, and educational endeavors that encourage students to pursue their educational dreams. 

He believes in disrupting the cycle of poverty by providing opportunities to individuals regardless of their socio-economic background.

Donal Christian

Donal Christian was appointed Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hudson Valley Community College in May 2021, following a successful seven-month tenure as CFO. In this dual leadership role, Christian provides strategic direction and oversight for all administrative and financial operations of the college, ensuring the effective management of institutional resources and support services.

As Vice President and CFO, Christian leads a broad portfolio of critical functions, including Budget, Human Resources, Grants and Contracts, the Controller’s Office, Procurement Services, Facilities and Capital Planning, Public Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, and Student Accounts. His areas of oversight encompass key financial and administrative functions such as accounting, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial aid administration, and compliance with sponsored program requirements.

Renowned for his collaborative leadership style, Christian works across academic and operational units to align resources with institutional priorities. His efforts directly support the college’s mission of delivering transformative impact through innovation in education, research, and entrepreneurship.

Christian brings over 20 years of experience in higher education administration and financial management, including a distinguished record of public service. A U.S. Army veteran, he has dedicated his career to serving public institutions with integrity, fiscal discipline, and a commitment to student success.

Christian holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Economics, with a specialization in Financial Economics, from The City College of New York (CCNY), and earned his MBA from the University of Miami.

He is also a devoted father of three children—Damian, Amalie, and Dimitri. His eldest son, Damian, was recently accepted into Arizona State University’s pre-medical program. Christian is a widower whose resilience and dedication continue to inspire those around him.
