Device Pickup Instructions

Due to high demand at the beginning of each semester, devices will be available as quickly as possible from the date of request.
Students will be notified via the college-provided email account (meid@maricopa.edu) when a loaner is ready for pickup and instructions on how and where to pick it up.

Please do not come to the campus until you receive notice that your loan request has been approved and is ready for pick up.

Pick Up Schedule

Appointments will be required to pickup a loaner laptop. Please email helpdesk@southmountaincc.edu or call 602-243-8324 to setup your appointment.

Pick Up appointments are typically scheduled Monday-Thursday from 11am-4pm, but appointments can be scheduled outside of these hours for students who are unable to meet during our normal hours.

When you arrive at the pickup area identified in the map, please call 602-243-8324 and we will bring the device out to you.

 

Pick Up Instructions

To maintain social distance and prevent the spread of COVID-19, SMCC is offering a drive-up distribution of laptops/hotspots.

  • Enter the campus off of 24th Street at the stop light and follow the red route (see picture below).
  • The pickup zone is the green box – when you arrive please call 602-243-8324.
  • The path to exit is outlined in yellow. Please follow these paths.
  • When you arrive, stay in your vehicle and follow the pickup line.
  • Staff will verify your information and the information on the form to the Maricopa Community College tag on the bottom of the laptop.
  • Finally, you will be issued a loaner device.
