Marquis Scott
Marquis Scott is a higher education professional, community leader, and lifelong advocate for student success who has called Phoenix, Arizona home since 1993 after relocating from the Chicago area.
Marquis recently served as the Director of Student Development for Career Services at Grand Canyon University, where he supported students in career exploration, professional development, and post-graduation success. His diverse professional background includes leadership roles as President of the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce, Director of Operations and Marketing for the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, and Partnership Specialist with the U.S. Census Bureau. He has also worked in the insurance and food service industries, bringing a broad range of experiences to his leadership and service.
