Join the South Mountain Community College Accounting Program for a special guest speaker event featuring Laurie Ziegler, Enrolled Agent (EA) and past officer of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) — the professional organization representing federally licensed tax practitioners authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
With over 30 years of experience spanning firm ownership, corporate financial leadership, and national professional service, Ms. Ziegler will share her journey as an Enrolled Agent and discuss career pathways in tax practice. Students will also participate in a hands-on small-group ethics exercise exploring real-world tax scenarios and professional decision-making.
This event is open to all Accounting students and is especially recommended for students in ACC 100- and 200-level courses. Students from Gateway Community College and Rio Salado College are also welcome.
