Retablo Sonorense

Thursday, November 19 • 7 p.m

Mesa Arts Center, Brown Sculpture Courtyard

In partnership with the Mesa Arts Center, tellers from the SMCC Storytelling Institute will be featured at Retablo Sonorense,
which includes stories of immigration, belonging, identity, resilience and home.

This is in connection with "Perla Segovia: RETABLO SONORENSE", a multimedia art installation hosted at the MAC through January 3, 2027. The exhibition reimagines traditional Mexican devotional folk art to capture the raw, deeply human complexities of the contemporary immigrant experience. Free and open to the public!
