SMCC student, Lysa-Marie Loher left an impressive mark with her research! As a student mentor in the BIO 156 STEM CURE project, she presented her poster titled "Microbial Analysis of Soil and Leafy Greens from Community Farms" at the Arizona Nevada Academy of Sciences (ANAS) conference on April 13, 2024.
Held at Glendale Community College, the conference brought together researchers and students from esteemed institutions including ASU, UA, MCCCD, Yavapai College, and Central Arizona College.
Lysa-Marie's outstanding work was also published as an abstract in the conference proceedings.
