Following a re-evaluation of the South Mountain Community Library's (SMCL) services, SMCL's hours of operation will be reduced by 13 hours per week.
Effective Monday, May 27, 2024, the library's hours of operation will be:
- Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Friday - Saturday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Closed
The Book Drop will continue to be available 24/7.
South Mountain Community College and the Phoenix Public Library are dedicated to providing ongoing seamless library services to students and the community using SMCL, as well as continuously evaluating the need and demand for library services.
