Maricopa Emergency Management System Alert

The college will be open to serving students online and by phone starting Thursday, March 19, however in-person college services, including on-campus events and activities, will not be available.

All current online classes will continue to be held as scheduled.

In-person and hybrid courses will resume in an online format starting April 6.

Study Abroad

The SMCC International/Intercultural Study Abroad Student Program (IISASP) provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to support qualified students who wish to participate in a Maricopa Community Colleges (MCCCD) Study Abroad Program.

The IISASP provides up to six awards yearly of between $500 and $1,000 (depending on number of applicants and available funds) to students selected to participate in a MCCCD Study Abroad program.

All forms must be submitted to the SMCC International/Intercultural Services Office, Art Building AR 502.
