Direct Deposit ACH (Recommended): Refunds are deposited directly to your bank account. The timeframe for receiving ACH refunds is 3-5 business days.
Reloadable Debit Card: Refunds are loaded onto a debit card of your choosing. The timeframe for receiving debit card refunds is 3-5 business days.
Paper Check: This is the default refund method. Please allow two weeks for mail delivery. Ensure your address is current. Update it with the admissions office at 602-243-8123 or by logging into the Student Center, tap Profile, tap Addresses, update address and save. If your check is misdelivered, your refund will be delayed. Lost checks incur a $25 stop payment fee. Bad checks incur a $15 returned check fee.

Payment Refunds:
Any credit on account which relates to a one-time payment or payment plan payment will be refunded, though auto-generated refunds are not guaranteed. Please reach out if you are expecting a payment refund and have not received it yet.
Credit/debit card payments will be refunded back to the original method of payment. We do not issue cash refunds. Cash/check payments will be refunded according to your selected refund method. It may take up to 30 days to process a refund.
Course Tuition Refunds:
Course refunds are issued in accordance with the MCCCD Student Refund Program Policy. Please also view our full refund policy here. If you have financial aid, please contact the financial aid office prior to dropping classes as drops may adversely affect your financial aid eligibility.
Financial Aid Refunds:
Credit resulting from the disbursement of financial aid funding will be refunded within 14 days as required by federal law. Refunds will be issued in accordance with your selected refund method.
