Timeline

On February 10 & 11, 2020, a Higher Learning Commission (HLC) Peer Review team visited the college to validate the statements that we make in our Assurance Argument as part of South Mountain’s reaffirmation of accreditation.

The most recent review took place in 2019-2020 with the next review scheduled for 2029-2030
South Mountain Community College, which follows a 10-year cycle and is intended to assure quality and continuous improvement. The process includes an Assurance Review in year 4, a Quality Initiative in years 5 through 9 and a Comprehensive Evaluation for reaffirmation in year 10.
